It turns out that the Homosapiens and the Neanderthals were not linked but lived at about the same time period!(just go to PBS.org and enter Neanderthal in the search, far too many sources to include links here) But oh family of Adam! if all is from water, what the heck do you care whether you are evolving as an ape or a human? you are HERE/NOW care that this day does not pass whilst you argue over matters which will not bring wisdom and serenity!
