For the most part we are all sleep walking. Even what we consider our "awake" time is really an illusive reality manifested by how we perceive the world around us. Now imagine that there are only a few truly "AWAKENED" souls who are always busy trying to get our attentions on what is real and away from the MAYA. How often do we find ourselves trying not to let something bother us? Something from the outside comes in the space of my being and pushes a button. I resent the cause or the person or object(whatever it maybe) that has just disturbed my peace, Or do I? Do I resent that person, thing, or place or the way I feel? Because let's face it as people who claim to be kind and at peace for the most part, as spiritual aspirants who claim to be so "in tune" we really resent the fact that this inner peace, this serenity can be so easily disturbed! Of all the things I have taught you my child, this is the most important to REMEMBER! That there are forces which govern the universe at large. There is the force of gravity which holds our world together and more beyond it. There are the WEAK AND STRONG forces within the nuclei of every atom regardless of the form. That as a scientific mind or a mind eager to know you must remember that in science where there is a phenomenon we look for the cause or the source. That the search for the sources of life's forces is the oldest and most important of all human endeavors. Am I a better human than I was before? Am I a better friend, lover, mate, father, mother? And not by my own tooting horns but declared by the mouths of others. Do I still have the same "problems" that used to cause me pain and anxiety? I tell you my children that if your way of life, your path, your religion(whatever you wish to call your belief system) does not bring you substantial change and serenity then it is the wrong one for you!
